ROOM 12's ASSEMBLY

The diamond stage dazzled and we were stars about to show our beauty to the world.

It was like the adults were hypnotized slaves, listening to our most important instructions.

My part was coming up, I was a cat that just got chased by a cheetah.

I was glued to the audience as if I was at a magic show, watching as closely as an eagle hunting for its dinner.

I danced like a drunk hyena, listening to my own heartbeat.

Billy was as psycho as a pig that had just eaten a bowl of ice cream.

At the end the children faded away like shadows with no light to recreate them.
